Pentecostal body wants leaders to deescalate racism in T&T

Political, religious and civil leaders are being urged to deescalate the spate of racism being seen in T&T.

This call comes from the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies through Bishop Don Hamilton.

The bishop wants citizens to build a nation of harmony, peace and stability.

The Pentecostal body is not the first to speak out in recent days – only yesterday the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Port of Spain, Jason Gordon pleaded with citizens not to give racism a place in T&T.

Echoing this message was the Catholic Commission for Social Justice.
