Pinto family tied up in early morning burglary


    Police are searching for three suspects linked to a burglary in Pinto early today, where a family was tied up and several items including two vehicles stolen.

    Around 4am, the victim told police he and his family were tied up at their Freedom Street home, by five men wearing long sleeve clothing and masks.

    When the perpetrators left, the man was able to free himself and his family members.

    However, he observed that two vehicles in his garage were missing, along with a quantity of household items.

    Police intercepted the vehicles in the vicinity of Punette Avenue, and the drivers were arrested.

    Anyone who has information on the three other suspects is strongly urged to contact police.
