PM talks outdated hiring systems and property tax

There are antiquated systems in place to deal with modern staffing problems in the education sector.

This problem was pointed out by Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley during a PNM event at City Hall in Port of Spain last night.

He was at the time responding to a Laventille resident who said she was unable to get a job, despite earning her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.

Dr Rowley also slammed the Opposition for delaying implementation of the Property Tax, insisting that it would not have broken anyone’s back.

    PM Dr Keith Rowley.
