One man was arrested with 138 kilos of marijuana in his vehicle this morning.
The TTPS says three other men were also held at Grand Bazaar, while allegedly waiting to receive the narcotics.
Around 5am today, members of the Special Operations Response Team and canine Tino, together with internal and external partners, embarked on Operation Red Fox.
They conducted surveillance in the Moruga district after receiving information about a silver Nissan Cube.
Around 7:15am, the Cube, with one male occupant, was intercepted on the north bound lane of the Uriah Butler Highway, in the vicinity of the Caroni Bridge.
The marijuana was found in the trunk, with the driver arrested and taken to the St Joseph Police Station.
The team then went to Grand Bazaar where they arrested the three other men and seized two vehicles: a Silver Nissan AD Wagon and a white Nissan Navarra.
Charges are expected to be laid against the suspects.
