Politicians, campaign managers urged to upkeep public health protocols

Politicians and campaign managers are being urged to ensure their campaign activities are not in breach of the public health ordinance.

Yesterday, concerns were raised about large crowds and a lack of physical distancing as candidates turned out to file their nomination papers for the August 10th General Election.

Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh says such incidents should not be allowed to happen again.

Mr Deyalsingh also issued some advice on what measures can be put in place.
