The Opposition has taken the Prime Minister to task over his call to Central Trinidad to give the PNM a chance.
Dr Keith Rowley’s statement came at the opening of the party’s Central regional office in Chaguanas yesterday.
The office will also be the campaign headquarters for Chaguanas East candidate Clarence Rambharat.
However, Couva North MP, Ramona Ramdial says the people of Central will not give the PNM a chance.
She claims the party has shown a lack of care and compassion for the area when it failed to visit the families of several deceased fishermen in Orange Valley.
She is urging citizens to “wake up and not be fooled” by the Prime Minister’s statement.
