On July 28th, a JetBlue flight will leave Trinidad bound for the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida.
This flight is meant to facilitate the repatriation of US citizens who are in T&T at this time due to the closure of borders.
In a statement, the US Embassy says US citizens and Legal Permanent Residents wishing to travel on this flight should contact JetBlue directly to book a seat.
It also stated: “The U.S. Embassy does not know when regularly scheduled commercial flights to the United States will resume. Currently, there are no other scheduled flights to the United States or other countries. US citizens who choose not to take this flight should be prepared to remain in Trinidad and Tobago until commercial air travel resumes.”
