Salvaged road materials sent to fix Felicity agri access roads

Agricultural access roads in Felicity and environs will be improved using old road materials taken from Connector Road.

This is according to outgoing Vice-President of the Agricultural Society, Devica Sookoo.

She says farmers will now benefit from over 1,000 yards of salvaged road materials to help fix the roads they use to get in and out of their farms daily.

Ms Sookoo explains that Felicity is a major food basket with over three million pounds of sweet potatoes produced annually.

She is thanking the Works Minister for ensuring the material reached the farmers and the Chaguanas Mayor for assisting with trucks and a backhoe team.

Ms Sookoo is now hoping that the Minister can assist in the repair of the Randy Carter Bridge in the shortest possible time.
