Spain COVID-19 deaths cross 10,000


    The total number of coronavirus deaths in Spain has gone past 10,000.

    The country is the second-worst hit in terms of deaths and has also lost nearly 900,000 jobs.

    Worldwide, confirmed coronavirus infections are nearing one million, according to Johns Hopkins University.

    950 new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours however, officials believe the virus is now peaking and they expect to see a drop in figures in the days ahead.
