Speyside man denied bail after stealing from tourists


    A 57 year old Speyside man has appeared in court charged with stealing from two tourists in Tobago.

    Terrence Cordner is charged with larceny of a bag containing cash and a cellphone as its owners were walking along Rockley Bay.

    According to Newsday he initially pleaded not guilty when he appeared yesterday before Magistrate Indrani Cedeno.

    However after he provided an explanation, his plea was changed to not guilty.

    Cordner was denied bail and remanded into custody, to reappear on January 7th.
