One person has been put in isolation in Tobago as a precaution, after returning from China.
According to the THA’s Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development, the individual did not have fever or any other symptoms and is currently in good health.
However, in keeping with recently implemented protocol for those returning from China, the individual was taken directly home by health officials and will be quarantined there for the next fourteen days.
Security will be stationed at the home 24/7, to ensure that the person adheres to the national policy to not leave home under such circumstances.
Persons are also being urged NOT to send threatening messages on social media.
