Police Commissioner Gary Griffith says he is committed to ending gang warfare and preventing young men from killing each other.
Mr Griffith believes that these men are being used by gang leaders but reiterated that the TTPS will intervene to bring an end to the ‘senseless violence’.
The Top Cop was speaking at an Anti-Gang training seminar hosted by the US Embassy, which he believes will assist the task at hand.
Also speaking was Attorney General Faris Al Rawi, who commended the Top Cop for the proposed merger of several arms of the TTPS.
The AG also lauded the Police Service for charges brought recently against four persons under the new Anti-Gang law.
