Trinis, Venezuelans arrested in Central Trinidad

    A woman is among three Venezuelans and two Trinidadians arrested for a series of offences, including possession of a gun and a stolen vehicle.

    Yesterday, a team of officers executed a search warrant at a house along Mohammed Lane, Kolahal Road, Charlieville.

    In the living room, they found a Keltec P11 pistol and 10 rounds of ammunition in a box.

    A white Nissan Sylphy parked outside the house was also found to have been stolen from Munroe Road, Cunupia by two of the suspects on October 17th.

    Those two, a 21 year old Trinidadian national and a 19 year old Venezuelan national, were charged with larceny stolen vehicle.

    The 21 year old was also charged with receiving stolen goods.

    All five meanwhile were charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition.

    • A 19-year-old Venezuelan male of Mohammed Lane, Kolahal Road, Charlieville
    • A 19-year-old Venezuelan male of Mohammed Lane, Kolahal Road, Charlieville
    • A 21-year-old Trinidadian male of Mohammed Lane, Kolahal Road, Charlieville
    • A 33-year-old Trinidadian male of Maracas Bay, Santa Cruz
