T&T national in Suriname hires lawyer

A T&T national stranded in Suriname has sent a legal letter to the National Security Minister, as he seeks to re-enter the country.

This was revealed by Minister Stuart Young today, who said he has since issued a reply to the attorney, who he says is attached to the Law Chamber of Gerald Ramdeen.

Meanwhile at the start of the post-cabinet briefing, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley emphasized that exemptions to the closed borders are not going to be made.
