The Aviation Communication and Allied Workers Union is exploring its legal options against CAL due its current relationship with the airline.

Union Secretary General, Peter Farmer, claims airline will not deal with them as a recognized majority union as the body represented workers of BWIA, the predecessor to Caribbean Airlines.

He alleges that CAL sees itself as a new entity, meaning none of the previous unions are valid.

Mr Farmer says, despite this argument being successfully challenged in court by CATTU, a BWIA union, the CAL is still not budging from its position.
