Tobago is expected to receive US$16 million as it looks to fight coastal erosion and climate change.

This has been revealed by Finance Secretary Joel Jack who says the money will come from the Development Bank of Latin America, CAF.

Additionally, he says $900 million will be allocated by Central Government for various projects, including the Black Rock Fire Station and the Terminal Depot at Sangsters Hill.

He notes this is “beyond the direct allocation to the Tobago House of Assembly.”
