A Venezuelan national was reportedly found fighting for his life about 30 miles offshore Trinidad earlier this week.

Robert Richards, owner and operator of Mixed Bag Sportfishing, posted on his Facebook page that they were bringing their new boats in when they made the discovery.

He claims that the man and 20 others were travelling to Trinidad to buy food when their boat sank.

The Venezuelan was said to be in the water for 19 hours and according to Richards, they did not find any other survivors.
