WASA “looking into” reports of water woes in Princes Town

For the last ten days, 70% of Princes Town has been without a proper supply of water, according to the regional corporation chairman.

Mr Gowrie Roopnarine, in a media release, says areas such as Tableland, New Grant and St Julien are being affected, while the Princes Town West Secondary School has no water.

The school is currently housing approximately 200 students and staff members as preparations continue for the CSEC and CAPE exams.

103.1FM News contacted WASA who says it is aware of the chairman’s statement and is looking into the matter.
