Despite the rainfall in the past week, the levels at the country’s main water reservoirs remain critically low.
WASA today gave an update, stating that the Hollis Reservoir currently has a 22.62 per cent capacity, well below its long-term average of 62.78 per cent.
Though the levels of the Arena dam rising to 41.8 percent, it is still around 12 percent below its LTA.
The Navet dam currently has 28.15 per cent capacity while its long term average remains at 61.21 per cent.
In Tobago at the Hillsborough reservoir levels are just under 29 per cent, well behind its 59 per cent LTA.
