There will be dry taps for residents of several parts of Central Trinidad tomorrow between 9am and 6pm.
WASA says this is to facilitate emergency repair works to a leaking 300mm diameter transmission pipeline along the Freeport Mission Road.
Areas to be affected include:
Central Park, Balmain, Gran Couva, Mayo, Tortuga, Siewdass Road, Freeport, Chickland, Preysal and environs inclusive of Mission Road, Sesame Street, Melanie Gardens, Santa Clara Road, Lower Couva Road, Nasir Trace, Powdharie Road and Sealey Trace.
It may take up to 12 hours afterwards for the service to normalize to some affected areas.
