Cabinet has approved financial assistance to fund the education of the children of the deceased Wayne Chance.
Mr. Chance was the founder of Vision on Mission, an organization that rehabilitates prisoners.
His children, ages 9, 10 and 13, will each receive a monthly stipend equivalent to the amount Government funds children placed in community residences.
Social Development Minister Camille Robison-Regis says the children will each receive this stipend until they turn 18 years old and the sum will be reviewed every three years.
The Prime Minister had previously called for the work of Vision on Mission to continue and for Mr. Chance’s family to receive assistance he provided to others.
