T&T’s 117th coronavirus patient was not hospitalized as the results of the test were deemed “weakly positive” according to the Chief Medical Officer.

The Ministry of Health has stated in its 10am update that the patient remains in isolation at the Home of Football hotel, which is a step-down facility.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Roshan Parasram notes that this decision was taken after consultation with CARPHA.

This new case, the 117th in T&T, was recorded on Saturday.

The patient had recently returned from abroad from seeking medical treatment.
