Wharf work forces changes in Jean de la Valette sailings

    Next week, there are changes to sailings of the Jean De La Vallete, due to work at the wharf in Port of Spain.

    According to the Inter Island Transport Company, the 6:30am sailing from Tobago and the 4pm sailing from Trinidad on Tuesday October 15th have been cancelled.

    Meanwhile on Thursday October 17th, the 6:30am sailing from Tobago has been pushed back to 9am.

    The cancellations and delay are due to sheet piling and dredging works at Queens Wharf and Caricom Wharf in Port of Spain from October 15th –17th.

    In the absence of this vessel, the Galleons Passage is scheduled to sail on Tuesday October 15th, departing POS at 9am and departing Scarborough at 4pm.

    Vehicles meanwhile can be accommodated on the M.V Cabo Star which will depart Port of Spain at 2pm and Scarborough at 11pm, on Tuesday October 15th .
