Work on one of the two vessels being built for the local sea-bridge should be completed later this year.
The Buccoo Reef is the second of two catamarans being built in Australia.
In a post to its Facebook page today, the Works Ministry says the vessel is 100m long, with four engines on board.
Each engine, it adds, can fill-up an Olympic swimming pool in 1 second.
This vessel is being built by Australian shipbuilders Incat.
While the post outlines the completion date, there was no word on its delivery date, with the Ministry instead stating that it was “coming soon”.
