Young: Upgrades coming to 360 coastal radar system

Upgrades are being carried out to the 360 coastal radar system.

The system was put in place by the Manning Administration, however it has been plagued with problems.

National Security Minister Stuart Young gave an update during today’s post cabinet briefing.

The technology is capable of detecting and tracking boats, following targets, and providing real-time updates on its location, direction and speed.
