After 11 years without First-class cricket action, two regional four-day matches will be held at Jamaica’s Trelawny Stadium.

The ground was completed just before the 2007 World Cup and hosted warm-up matches.

It last staged a first-class game in 2009 when Windward Islands beat Jamaica by 3 wickets.

In 2020, it will host Jamaica Scorpions and Leeward Islands Hurricanes from February 13th to 16th and the Scorpions versus Guyana from February 27th to March 1st.

CWI director of cricket, Jimmy Adams, says Trelawyn is scheduled to stage a T20i in two years’ and these matches are part of the process to get the ground in shape.
