Raymon Reifer took 4/24 as the Guyana Amazon Warriors lost their 5th CPL final and 2nd in a row.

Reifer’s spell at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy helped restrict the Warriors, who were unbeaten in the tournament, to 144/9 chasing 172.

Brandon King was impressive once again, making 43 but he could not get enough support from the rest of the batting order.

Harry Gurney (2/24), Ashley Nurse (2/17) and Hayden Walsh Jr (1/23) were also among the wickets.

Earlier, Tridents, without the services of the injured JP Duminy, posted 171/6 on the back of 50 not out from Jonathan Carter.

This is the 2nd time Barbados have beaten Guyana in a CPL final, repeating the outcome of their encounter in 2014 in St Kitts.
