Chennai Super Kings will play Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League final after they beat Delhi Capitals by six wickets in today’s final qualifier.
Chennai restricted Delhi to 147-9 from their 20 overs, with a top score of 38 from Rishabh Pant.
In reply, Chennai’s openers Faf du Plessis and Shane Watson both scored even 50s, as the win was sealed with six balls remaining.
Sunday’s final will be Chennai’s eighth in their 10 seasons in the IPL, as they bid for a fourth title.
Mumbai previously beat Chennai in the first qualifier, to reach the final.
