Cornwall takes 7/75 as Afghanistan falls to 187 all out

    All rounder Rakheem Cornwall took seven wickets to dismantle Afghanistan’s hopes of scoring a high first innings total in the lone Test against the West Indies.

    Instead, the Afghans were bowled out for 187, with a top score of 39 from Javed Ahmadi and 34 from Amir Hamza.

    Jason Holder chipped in with 2/22 and Jomel Warrican took 1/35.

    At Stumps on Day 1, the West Indies are 68/2, losing Kraigg Brathwaite for 11 and Shai Hope for 7.

    They will resume tomorrow 119 runs behind Afghanistan with 8 wickets in hand.
