Cricket West Indies and CPL will be dropping a big announcement tomorrow.
According to a brief advisory, a “major new event” will be held in the Caribbean in the summer.
The announcement can be viewed via a YouTube channel called “The 6IXTY” and a Facebook page called “6ixtycricket” from 9AM AST.
A video was posted to the Facebook page today with West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle urging persons not to miss the launch.
According to a description on the YouTube channel, “The 6IXTY” is a 60-ball cricket tournament featuring men’s and women’s teams to take place from August 24th to August 28th.
