Jason Holder took career-best figures of 4/7 as West Indies beat England by nine wickets in the first of five T20Is.

The number one T20I team in the world, England, were bowled out for 103 in Bridgetown as Holder led the charge.

Sheldon Cottrell took two wickets and there was one apiece for Akeal Hosein, Romario Shepherd and Fabian Allen.

Then, West Indies chased their target in 17.1 overs to end on 104/1 with Brandon King not out on 52 – his second T20I fifty.

Nicholas Pooran (27 not out) and Shai Hope (20) provided good support in the low-scoring affair.

The second T20I takes place tomorrow from 4pm.

The final three games will be played on January 26th, 29th and 30th before a three-Test series in March.
