Nicholas Pooran has impressed West Indies captain Jason Holder during his short stint at the World Cup so far.
Pooran has scored 137 runs across 3 innings including 63 against England and 40 against Australia.
Holder is extremely pleased with his progress and believes the left handed has shown a lot of maturity.
He’s hoping Pooran can step up tomorrow against Bangladesh and score a century.
The West Indies will be desperate to pick up points as they sit at 6th on the table with 3 points from 4 games.
The top four advance to the knockout round.
Meanwhile tomorrow’s game is Holder’s 100th ODI.
So far he’s scored 1,634 runs and taken 125 wickets.
