West Indies A have been brushed aside by India A in their first of 5 unofficial ODIs.

The regional camp would have been all smiles after a fine effort with the ball restricted India to 190 all out in 48.5 overs.

Roston Chase, captain of the A side, took 4/19 in 6.5 overs and Akeem Jordan grabbed 3/43 in 10.

Romario Shepherd and Rahkeem Cornwall took 1 wicket each.

However, their day went downhill from there – regular wicket saw West Indies bowled out for 125.

Barbados’ Jonathan Carter and Jamaica’s Rovman Powell provided the only noticeable resistance, each scoring 41.

Khaleel Ahmed led India A’s bowling with 3/16 in 8 overs, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel and Rahul Chahar took 2 apiece and Deepak Chahar grabbed 1.
