Usman Khawaja is out of the World Cup with a hamstring injury, says Australian coach Justin Langer.
He picked up the injury during Saturday’s defeat by South Africa.
Marcus Stoinis meanwhile is also an injury doubt for Thursday’s semi-final against England.
Stoinis was also due to have a scan on Sunday to determine the extent of his injury.
Mitchell Marsh has been called up as cover for Stoinis.
Khawaja is the second player to withdraw from Australia’s squad after Shaun Marsh broke his arm in training on Thursday.
