A splendid day with the ball and 79 not out from Glenn Phillips have helped Jamaica Tallawahs to a win as St Kitts and Nevis Patriots faltered again.

Phillips’ balanced innings took Jamaica to 147/6 in their 20 overs.

Rayad Emrit led the Patriots bowling with 3/32 while fellow Trinbagonian Imran Khan bowled most economical spell of this year’s tournament – 1/7 in four overs, bowling 18 dot balls.

Despite this effort to restrict Jamaica, the St Kitts and Nevis franchise continued to have a horror tournament.

Regular wickets frustrated their batting as they slumped to 110 all out.

Carlos Brathwaite took three wickets including his 150th in T20s.

Tallawahs climb to 3rd in the CPL standings with today’s win while Patriots remain at the bottom with just the solitary win.
