Anderson Phillip took 6/19 in the 2nd innings as T&T beat Windwards by an innings and 84 runs to move to 2nd in the CWI Championship.
Red Force bowled out the Volcanoes twice – for 173 and then 152 following on) as Phillip took match figures of 10/72.
This win, which gave T&T a total of 22.4 points, puts them in 2nd ahead of Guyana Jaguars who were today blown away by Kemar Roach and the Barbados Pride.
Roach took 4/40 in nine overs as Guyana lost by 235 runs at home – they were bowled out for 55 and 94 after Pride’s innings of 174 and 210.
Elsewhere, Leewards Hurricanes are at 134/6 in their 2nd innings, responding to Jamaica Scorpions 561/9 declared.
The Hurricanes’ first innings was 260, meaning the are still 167 runs behind with one day of play left.
