A Nicholas Pooran masterclass secured victory for Guyana Amazon Warriors over St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.

The Trini wicketkeeper-batsman scored his first ever CPL hundred, getting to his target and finishing the team’s chase of 151 with a hat-trick of sixes off Ish Sodhi.

Pooran’s innings included 10 sixes and 4 fours and accounted for 99 of the 128 runs in the partnership between him and Ross Taylor.

Their unbroken 4th wicket stand was the first century partnership of this year’s tournament and the highest for that wicket for Guyana Amazon Warriors.

It took them from a position of worry at 25/3 to victory and to third in the table.

Earlier Patriots made 150/5 on the back of 59 from T&T’s Joshua Da Silva.
