Shannon Gabriel returns from ankle surgery with wickets in warm-up match

Shannon Gabriel looked in fine form as he returned from ankle surgery, grabbing three wickets on the first day of a warm up match amongst West Indies players.

The Trinbagonian fast bowler is part of the reserve squad in England for the three-test series next month and suited up today for the Jason Holder XI in their match against the Kraigg Brathwaite XI.

Gabriel’s three wickets plus four for Alzarri Joseph helped bowl out the Brathwaite squad for 275 with Brathwaite himself making 84 and Shai Hope adding 83.

T&T wicketkeeper/batsman Joshua Da Silva impressed behind the wickets taking four catches.
