West Indies Head Coach Phil Simmons says how West Indies move forward after their opening Test win against Bangladesh is important.

The home team picked up a seven-wicket win in the Antigua Test, chasing a target of 84 on Day Four.

The result means West Indies are unbeaten in four Tests so far for 2022 – two draws and one win against England back in March and a victory in the first Test against Bangladesh.

However, Coach Simmons is cautious, noting that 2021 started in the same vein before losses to South Africa, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

He is hoping the team can stay unbeaten across all the Tests carded for this year.
