The West Indies fell to a two wicket loss to Ireland yesterday at Sabina Park, a result which saw them lose the series 2-1.
In so doing, the visitors picked up their first bilateral ODI series win against a Test-playing nation other than Zimbabwe and Afghanistan.
The star of the show was all-rounder Andy McBrine whose 4 for 28 first restricted West Indies to 212, with a top score of 53 from Shai Hope.
McBrine then made 59 with the bat to guide Ireland’s chase.
Roston Chase and Akeal Hosein picked up 3 wickets each.
The West Indies will now turn their attention to England, with their T20I series due to begin on January 22nd in Barbados.
